CARP Transmitter Hunt on Saturday February 5
Join us for the next Clovis Amateur Radio Pioneers Transmitter hunt on Satu= rday December 18th at 10:00 am. The hunt will start at Letterman Park in Cl= ovis. Hunt frequency will be 146.565 Mhz. Mike KG6MSV will be the fox for t=
he hunt. All the participants have a lot of fun at the Transmitter hunts. N=

CARP Bylaw Reviews Underway=20
During the January Annual Business Meeting it was suggested that the CARP B= ylaws undergo review. It has been over 14 years since the beginning of the = Clovis Amateur Radio Pioneers and there are some changes needed to the club=
Bylaws. At the January Board of Directors Meeting a Bylaw review committee=
will be formed to perform the task of reviewing and making suggestions for=
changes and/or corrections to the club Bylaws. The results of the review c= ommittee will submit their recommendations to the Board of Directors who in=
turn will review and then submit the changes to the membership. Per the cu= rrent Bylaws the meeting following the publication of changes, the membersh=
ip present will vote on those changes. If you are a club member and have an=
y suggestions on what changes should be made, please email to info@k6arp.or=

M2 Open House - Saturday March 5=20

2010 CARP Overload and Bonehead Awards=20
The recipient of the 2010 CARP Overload is Jerry Jackson W6KEG for timing o=
ut the repeater. The recipients of the 2010 CARP Bonehead are Rob Mavis AE6=
GE and Dave Dansby NI6M for attempting to run a transmitter hunt with a wir= eless connection to the antenna. You can view the details of the events tha=

The communications site that the CARP repeater is located is looking for ad= ditional tenants. If you know of a company looking for tower space that has=
as great view of the central valley, please let us know so we can get them=
