TULARE COUNTY AMATEUR CLUB MEETING
MARCH 21, 2013
*Minutes completed by Kevin (KC6IED)
*Meeting called to order at 19:05
*Introductions ΓÇô included call sign, name, location, and license class *Richard (KF6QJL) made motion to accept minutes from last club meeting.
John (KJ6HBF) seconded. Motion carried.
*Larry (KF6JBG) discussed Vietnam VeteransΓÇÖ Bike Ride scheduled for
March 23, 2013 ΓÇô need for volunteers for communications at rest stops. Announced new directories will be printed in April. Announced DX
Convention coming up on April 19^th .
*Scott (KJ6AZR) ΓÇô Treasurer Report ΓÇô no changes.
*Victor (KJ6HBG) ΓÇô want to hear everyone using their radios, work on
radios, antennas, etc., in preparation for Field Day.
*Richard (KF6QJL) ΓÇô made motion to approve $250.00 to be spent at DX Convention for an antenna for the club. John (KJ6HBF) seconded the
motion. Motion carried.
*Eric (N6VYT) ΓÇô will do research for camera at repeater site. Victor (KJ6HBG) made a motion to allot $500.00 for camera ΓÇô pending further research. John (KJ6HBF) seconded the motion. The motion carried.
*John (KJ6HBF) ΓÇô expressed concern with getting antennas up.
*Richard (KF6QJL) ΓÇô mentioned updating email addresses for club members
so that they receive club emails.
*Eric (N6VYT) ΓÇô put new batteries in the UPS (Uninterrupted Power Supply). *Richard (KF6QJL) motioned to adjourn meeting. John (KJ6HBF) seconded
motion.
