    A few items to note:

    1) While the net listings in the "Net Menu" are basically the same,
there may be some changes soon. They were supposed to do a reprogramming/upgrade on Reflector 4 late Sunday night, where there
wasn't a "low limit" on the number of connections/hotspots, etc. If
so, the Texas D-Star Net may move back to Reflector 4 Bravo, instead
of Reflector 74 Bravo, that it has been using for its net on Tuesday.
I will update the nets listing as soon as possible, if this occurs.

    2) There have been problems with Reflector 55 lately...it crashed
during the El Paso D-Star Net last night, and it has crashed at other
times as well. Reflector 9 B is the backup. If they move the reflector
for the El Paso D-Star Net, and the New Mexico D-Star Net, I will
update the net listing as soon as possible.

    3) The Millennium Net, which gave me the idea of a "nets page" in the
first place back in March, 2006...may soon be going QRT. The Net
Control is getting burned out from being there, with very few, if any
checkins. At times, weather has kept me from being there. While I would
hate to see the net go away, I can't blame him. There's no point in
having a net, if no one will check into it. That net is on the W2GJW
Echolink node on Echolink at 9pm Eastern Time on Wednesdays. It doesn't
meet the Wednesday before the U.S. Thanksgiving Day Holiday, and only
meets once a month during June, July, and August. I will update the file
    if the net goes QRT.

    4) Speaking of burn out, I am getting burned out on the nets that I'm
doing. So much so, that I have REDUCED the amount of nets that I'm
involved with during the week; because of financial issues with my Mom
in a nursing home, and other items (I'll spare you the gory details).

So, here's a brief list of the ONLY nets I'm on the air with anymore --
all times are U.S. Eastern Time.

    Sunday: QCWA D-Star Net, REF 26A, 5pm

    Monday: D-Star Food Net, REF 26A, 8:30pm

    Tuesday: Arklatex D-Star Net, REF 48B, 8:30pm

    1st Thursday: CERT D-Star Net, REF 58A, 9:30pm

    2nd Thursday, New Mexico D-Star Net, REF 55A, 10pm

    Friday: D-Star Trains/Railroads Net, REF 26A, 8pm

    Additional items for this category:

    A. Also on Friday, I do the QCWA CQ100 Net, at 11am Friday on 14.347,
for those who have CQ100. It's $39 a year, with free usage on Sunday.
Members also get the add-on QSOTV, which is a quasi ATV application.
No RF occurs with CQ100, but it's a great way for new hams to get over
    "mic fright".

    B. I have also REDUCED my involvement with D-Rats, to be connected to
the AE5HE Ratflector ONLY...but most of the time, my status is
UNATTENDED. You can send me a brief message there, if you see that
WX1DER is online. You can also download from my files area.

    C. You can also check into the Arklatex D-Star Net via the Arklatex
D-Star Net Facebook Group, starting 30 minutes before net time.

    D. Membership in the Quarter Century Wireless Association (QCWA) or
the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) is not required to check
into their nets. For QCWA, if you were first licensed as an amateur
radio operator anytime in 1994 (as of 2019) or earlier...and are
currently licensed, you can join the organization, and also join a
local or regional chapter in your area. For CERT, training is free,
and the life you save, may be your own.

    E. Except for a brief weather summary for the Arklatex, Arklamiss, and
MidSouth regions, on the Arklatex D-Star Net, on Tuesdays, I have ENDED
the "weather recap" on all the nets. It basically took up too much net
time, and folks can just as easily go to the National Weather Service
website (www.weather.gov), and look up the data for themselves.

    5) Much of the U.S., except for Arizona and Hawaii, will SPRING FORWARD
to Daylight Savings Time, at 2am local time on Sunday, March 10. The
times for most D-Star, analog, and Echolink nets will NOT change.

However, if you check into a net that originates in Arizona or Hawaii,
or to a net that operates on UTC time, and you're outside of those
areas, your net will be ONE HOUR LATER than it is now. Check with the
various Net Control operators for details.
