Howdy! ALL!,
Here in the United States we observe Thanksgiving Day in November,
so I thought I would say "THANK YOU!" to the people who Run, Read and Enter messages on BBS's.
Best regards, Marc.

It was received here at 16 Nov 18 15:07:44, my time. Not bad, and
not really good. Just not too bad.
I'm also a relic from the past but I started BBS'ing later than you.
My first BBS ran on an Epson 386AX with the 'ExecHost' software as the 'SunnyIsland BBS' in 1988.
Gevening Paul,

not really good. Just not too bad.
in december.
I don't know of course WHY but there is one culprit, either Ed himself
or the BBS where he uploads echo mail.
Because there was only this "off date" message I can't think anyone
else was involved.
Merry Christmas,

You know just a simple g'day! works any time of the day. It's just
after 'smoko' time here (anytime at or near 10:00, whether one
smokes or not); your message received here at 22 Dec 18 10:32:17.

Okay. I didn't see a thing. I have two nodes connected to the echo
and both probably filtered out the duplicate(s).
... I stayed up all night to see where the sun went. Then it dawned
on me.
Noticed in the news that it had become quite hot in the western/middle parts of your land/continent.
The eastern part of Australia seems to have enjoyed nice temperatures.
You see, we don't wait for Santa to come in the morning of Christmas
day
My son has always preferred to celebrate Christmas within his family
and I don't blame him. After all, he is living 30 km from the city and after all, I wouldn't have space for four additional guests around the table.
Have a good end of the year and a Happy New 2019 year.
